Accessibility
Last updated October 13, 2026
Realms Technologies wants everyone to be able to read this site, buy from it and get help, however they use the web. This page says what we have done, what does not yet work as well as it should, and how to reach us when something gets in your way.
The standard we work to
We build realmsplugins.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we follow version 2.2 where we can. We last checked every page against it on October 13, 2026, with automated checks and by hand with a keyboard. The site has not been audited by an outside specialist, so we do not claim that it meets every point of the standard. Where we know it falls short, we say so below.
What we have done
- Every link, button and form field can be reached and used with a keyboard alone, and shows a clear outline when it has focus. On the home page, the first stop is a link that skips to the content.
- Text is dark enough against its background to meet the contrast the standard asks for.
- Each page has one main heading, headings in order and a marked main region, so it can be moved through with a screen reader.
- Form fields have labels, and buttons and links say what they do.
- The site follows your device's setting for reduced motion. On the home page, the Pause motion button under the plugin carousel stops everything that moves by itself, and the site remembers that choice. Nothing on the site flashes.
- Pages can be zoomed to 200% and read on a narrow screen without scrolling sideways.
- Nothing is on a time limit, and there are no puzzles to solve to prove you are a person.
What does not yet work as well as it should
- The moving demonstrations. The demonstration beside each plugin is a drawing. A screen reader is given a one-sentence description of it, and everything it shows is also written out in the Details section under that plugin.
- The shop. The cart, checkout, sign-in and account windows are provided by Moonbase, the company that sells our plugins on our behalf. We do not control how they are built. If any of them stops you from buying, downloading or activating a plugin, email us and we will get it done with you by email.
- The plugins themselves. They run inside music software, and their controls are drawn graphically, so they do not yet work fully with screen readers. Their settings are passed to the host program, so they can be read and changed with the host's own controls and automation.
